Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama

The Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama (HHHFA) was qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1990 with the support of Charles D. Beard, his wife, Mary Sue Beard, and John Beard, President of Alacare Home Health & Hospice. The HHHFA was formed as a way to help patients using home health or hospice services who have monetary restrictions that may prohibit them from receiving care in their home.

The Fund is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, contributions to HHHFA are tax-deductible on federal and state income tax.

Our character as a society will be judged by the way we treat the needs of the poor, frail and elderly who cannot provide for themselves.

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965)

Bringing Light. Giving Hope.

The primary mission of the Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama is to assist hospice and home health patients, and their families, by providing them with short-term financial assistance for medically related needs.
